Todays, on the auspicious day of Maha Ashtami, I visited Delhis Chittaranjan Park to participate in the celebrations of Durga Puja. Chittaranjan Park is famous for its deep roots connected with Bengali culture. The festivities clearly signify the cultural richness as well as the spirit of togetherness in our country. Wished all to be happy and prosperous," PM Modi tweeted after visiting.

Local resident welfare associations had advised people to be aware of traffic restrictions and diversions during the Prime Minister’s presence in the area.

Often referred to as Delhi’s “mini Bengal,” CR Park is famed for its elaborate Durga Puja celebrations. The neighbourhood is decorated with vibrant pandals, food stalls, and cultural performances, drawing thousands of visitors from across the city.

Distinguishing the celebrations are the thematic pandals and their novel concepts, replicated in different cities of the nation.
